Special services
ALMA DE MEXICO is always looking for ways to serve you better. A series of special services are available and you may request them free of charge through our Call Center 01 800 800 2562, at 3836.0770 in Guadalajara and the Metropolitan Area or at 1 888 811 2562 from USA.
It is important to request this service ahead of time (at least 48 hours before your departure), since each ALMA DE MEXICO flight has certain capacity restrictions. This is in order to provide you with the best personalized and specialized attention.
Minors traveling alone

|
| |
Any child (from 5 to 17 years of age) who travels without the company of an adult is considered an "unaccompanied minor" and must be booked through ALMA DE MEXICO’s counters. An unaccompanied minor may not be booked online using our Web Check–In service.
For their own safety, children under 5 years cannot travel on our flights without the company of a parent.
ALMA DE MEXICO reserves the right to deny transportation to minors on flights with connections. Therefore it is prohibited to use the service for trips with more than one hour between connecting flights or when the final destination is via multimodal transportation (land transportation).
In addition, please be aware that we do not currently provide service for minors with special needs.
At the time of check–In at the airport, you will be asked to fill out a request form for this special service.

Infants (Babies)
|
|
| |
|
|
|
|
ALMA DE MEXICO defines an infant (baby) as 1 to 23 months of age; it is recommended that parents always carry a birth certificate.
Infants under 7 days of age, adults flying with 2 or more infants or minors under 12 flying with an infant will not be allowed.
There are two ways to fly with an infant:
In your lap
- In this way your infant can fly free of charge (with no right to extra luggage) with an adult that has a paid ticket.
Reserved seat
- If you wish for your infant to fly in his or her own seat, it is required that you purchase a ticket and use an approved child safety seat provided by the accompanying adult.
It is very important that at the time of purchase of your trip you indicate that you are flying with an infant, so we can provide you a seat with an oxygen mask for infants, since the number of this mask is limited.
